Wide variety of clinical exposure
A. Continuity clinic offers residents wide variety of patients from infants to geriatrics, ob/gyn. Many of our clinic patients are
under served and thus have complex medical conditions.
B. Being in the Texas Medical Center our residents are exposed to a multitude of conditions that they will NEVER see anywhere
else. Patients are referred to Methodist from all
around the world. Our residents train with experts in the field who have literally “written the book” in their fields.
C. Family Medicine center allows residents to have exposure to many procedures such as joint injections, circumcisions, colposcopy,
endometrial biopsy, cryosurgery, radio
frequency ablations, skin procedures, flexible sigmoidoscopy, osteopathic manipulative treatments, laceration repair,etc.

latest technology residents can learn and fine tune various procedural skills.
