Erika Robinson is perhaps the core of our program. A graduate of Lamar University-Beaumont and a former
educator, she taught fourth grade for five years before moving to Houston and joining the Internal Medicine
department at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
Through working with the medical students there for the next five years, she realized that working with the
residents at Methodist would offer even more of a challenge, while still being able to work with medical students
as they rotate through Denver Harbor Clinic.
Being involved in the thriving evolution of the Family Medicine residency program, as well as the newly
sponsored Sports Medicine Fellowship, has been a rewarding experience that she is proud to add to her list of
accomplishments.
